Bradley W. Bloch

Strategy and messaging 

Bradley W. Bloch founded Athlon in 1992 to provide peer-to-peer marketing and communications support to partners, practice group leaders and senior marketing executives at professional services firms and other business-to-business enterprises. Bradley is responsible for the overall vision and execution of client marketing strategies and the content of all thought leadership and communications initiatives. 

Bradley holds a B.S in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in Religion, both from Columbia University. He has served on the board of the Columbia Alumni Association and has represented the alumni in the University Senate and on the committee that nominates alumni to the university’s board of trustees.

Sandra Bauman, Ph.D.

Market research and ideation

Over her 25-year career, Sandra Bauman, Ph.D., has designed and managed more than 350 studies for corporate and nonprofit clients for corporate image and brand positioning, strategic marketing, new product development and innovation, and customer satisfaction and loyalty. She is highly experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and is a trained focus-group moderator for brainstorming, ideation and strategic planning sessions with executives. Prior to starting Bauman Research and Consulting, Sandra was a Vice President at Wirthlin Worldwide.

Sandra holds a B.A. in journalism from Drake University, and a Master of Science in Journalism and a Ph.D. in communication research, both from Northwestern University.

Paul Wronski

Branding and design

Paul has spent 20 years developing compelling visual branding systems for a range of B2C and B2B enterprises, from regional utility companies to global fintech firms. His campaigns draw on a wide range of concepts, from mathematics to nature to popular culture, and are characterized by their ability to encompass complex brand architectures and to extend across communications channels. Before beginning his own design studio in 2008, Paul was Creative Director at North American Power, where he led campaigns that grew customer count by 17 percent and held positions of increasing responsibility at Affinion Group (now cxLoyalty), a global customer engagement company. 

Paul is a published logo designer who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication from Sacred Heart University. 

Robert Siegel

Narrative

Robert Siegel is an author and professor of creative writing whose work explores the turbulent intersection of culture, family and society. He combines his experience in storytelling with his long-standing interest in law and business to help Athlon clients craft their narratives. His books include a memoir, Criminals: My Family’s Life on Both Sides of the Law, and two novels. His fiction and non-fiction articles have appeared in The New York TimesThe Los Angeles Times, Smithsonian and The Paris Review.

Robert holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop. He is a recipient of both the O. Henry and Pushcart Prizes, and held a Fulbright scholarship in Taiwan and a Mombukagakusho fellowship in Japan. He is fluent in Japanese. 

Nicole Bardales

Web design and development

Nicole Bardales is a highly experienced web designer and developer who leads NB Tech Solutions, a firm that has established effective websites for a range of companies in North and Latin America. She combines a sophisticated aesthetic with elegant coding to produce user-friendly, compliant and accessible sites that meet clients’ strategic and business needs, and that have complex e-commerce, e-learning and online directory functionality.

Nicole draws on her multifaceted professional background to help her clients meet their digital objectives. Before entering the field of web design and development, Nicole earned a law degree and held senior positions with several supply chain and third-party logistics firms.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, summa cum laude, from the Catholic University of Honduras. She is fluent in Spanish.
